It seems like the mission of BISD special education is to keep their costs down, and limit their liability. Their tactics are mostly to confuse parents with jargon and bureaucracy, and endless meetings that delay and deny requests for special education services, seemingly unconcerned that the child is being left behind. If you have a child with a learning disability, you'll need an attorney to get anything meaningful from BISD special education.
