The bad reviews are due to the disapointment of many many parents that actually have standards... I am astonished that anyone with any common sense wouldn't see it. I could write about tests scores and disconnected staff but clearly it falls on deaf ears. Bottom line if your not seeing the many shortcomings at daybreak you haven't been paying attention. I implore Parents to look closer and voice your concerns at a state level. It is our responsibility as parents to ensure the success of our children.

I like daybreak. I learn a perfect amount and the teachers do care about us. Every teacher I have had has stopped at nothing to help us get through anything we need.. I don't understand these bad reviews. I love my shook. There is nothing wrong with it.

We had to relocate to Battle Ground last Summer and were a little pessimistic about sending our child to Day Break. We had read a couple of less than stellar reviews on the school and didn't know what to expect. The year started off pretty good, our child enjoyed going to school and his teacher seemed good. However, the honeymoon period was over and the further we got into the school year the more disappointed we became with the school. Every time I would ask the teacher about where our child was at in regards to academics and we would get this long, drawn out explanation. It all boiled down to test scores., nothing about how our child was doing other than the test scores. The teacher is gone a lot because she is on some sort of math committee leaving the students with what they call "guest teachers" in our day we called them substitutes. How well of an education are they going to get with subs coming in and out of their class. Needless to say we are less than impressed with Day Break and may pull him out and send him somewhere else next Fall.

Dear Parents, this school is a joke. The staff here is horrible. All they seem to be worried about is funding. They could care less about your children. The teachers are not teaching, but they sure are collecting the money for it. They should be fired and banned from educational occupations. Go to the school and observe for yourself. Please. I know if I was hired to do a job and did not do it well I would be replaced. If your thinking about settling here, DONT DO IT. If we were not under a lease we would move today.
