This school has outstanding teachers who are committed to each student. We are also very impressed with the leadership of the new principal. The parents are involved and supportive. Overall a wonderful community we have felt fortunate to be a part of for the past three years.

My son started at Sherwood Forrest this year in Kindergarten. He had a wonderful experience (until we had to leave a month later due to relocation). His teacher, Mrs Leahey, was very experienced, organised, fun and incontrol of her class. She went the extra mile in helping my son, who had above average reading abilities, by pairing him with a first grade reading group (although we left before this ended up happening). Fantastic new facilities too. The only reason I'm not giving it a five is for the class size (they were large).

A day full of fun and interesting acedemics, students are challenged and excited. The school is very diverse and well equiped to intergrate and yet individualize all. The staff is dedicated and hands on. Small class size. Many opportunities for parents to be involved on all levels. Principal is engaged, active and knowledgable. PTA is strong and active. My kindergartener ended his school year reading at an advanced level well beyond his years. Very stong math and science program. Strong acedemics. Stong community.
