I am a mother of two girls at FR middle school. FR provides a supportive and serene environment conducive to learning. The teachers are very aware of each student's needs. The communication between the staff and parent is excellent. The school head is likable and inspiring. There are opportunities to donate money to be sure, but no arm twisting and social pressure to do so. The families are very nice in my experience. Every one of my interactions with teachers and staff over the past 3.5 years has been pleasant and positive. The staff really cares about the students. Some teachers are better than others, but overall the teaching is excellent. One of the best features of the middle school is the math program. There are four or five levels of math class for the grade so that each student is being challenged at the appropriate level. It seems that every girl has friends, even the socially awkward girls. It is unfortunate that so many girls leave the school for high school. I wish my girls would continue on at the school, but they are burned out on the all-girl environment.

I attend forest ridge. The teachers here are rude, and cruel, and don't care for the children. When frustrated they just stare at you when you cry. No support, no respect, this is the reason i'm leaving.

This school is good for different types of kids, some are definitally not meant for it, and some absoloutely love it. Highschool program is way better than middle school. High school teachers are funny, middle school teachers are rude.

Attending Forest Ridge was hands-down the best decision I ever made. As a FR student for all 8 years, I have seen many changes within the school, but always felt respected and valued as a member of the Forest Ridge community. As far as teachers go, you will not find a set of individuals who are more talented, engaging, and passionate about their areas of expertise than you will at this school. The faculty is what makes our school shine as well as what makes the experience worth every penny. Our teachers are not just there to preach a textbook, give a lecture, and assign homework. Rather, they are pillars who are eager to push their students to their fullest potential, all while instilling a deep passion for learning in every student. Do not underestimate the power of all-women's education. I highly recommend this school; you will not regret the decision.

A flawless academic program. Competitive but challenging sports program. Great foriegn language instruction and an excellent art program. Best for children who excel in school; children with learning disorders may be best served elsewhere.

I am a parent of two daughters of this school and have been there for eight years. We are one of a few recipients of the Ford Foundation Award of $50,000 for our global committee. We have 100% college attendance of our graduates. FR has been called a leader in the area of global education and experiences. Please consider visiting this school for your own personal firsthand experience.

I am in 10th grade, she is enrolled in honors classes, extra curricular programs and doing very well. Forest Ridge gives girls the tools they need to succeed, there are no limits to what they will offer, or to what extent they will go for an excellent education. The best choice in the northwest.

We have one daughter entering 9th grade at Forest Ridge. Although our initial choice for enrollment in this school was with the intent for attendance through middle school, it has been refreshing to watch our daughter achieve her potential in all areas; intellectually, artistically, socially and spiritually. In making the choice for where to attend high school, she didn't want to settle for anything less. Forest Ridge is academically excellent & so much more. For girls that have the ambition & drive to be the leaders of tomorrow, this school is a vibrant, supportive environment where they can develop the skills that they need to succeed. The staff could not be more committed to developing their understanding of each girls distinct interests & needs as they encourage and support each girls efforts towards growth and development. This school is an excellent choice where a student can achieve her potential.

We have daughters in 6th & 9th grade at Forest Ridge. It is academically excellent, and is so much more. It is a vibrant, supportive environment for girls to grow intellectually, artistically, socially and spiritually. The staff is highly committed to each student succeeding and they go out of their way to work with each student's unique gifts and challenges. They welcome parents. The girls work hard in a highly challenging academic environment, and have great fun. Outstanding drama and fine arts programs.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
