Academic focus and philosophy

Educational philosophy and approach to learning Upon completion of a student assessment, our staff is able to design programs specific to each of our students that directly address their individual needs and goals while taking advantage of their strengths. That is perhaps the most salient aspect of our model: It is truly student-centered. Students are able to move as quickly or slowly through material as is appropriate for them in a supportive context.

Culture

Approach to addressing and preventing bullying Often students come to our school due to bullying situations in their previous school environment. Since we have a one student to one teacher ratio, we do not have the risk of peer bullying during the time the student is on campus. Our students thrive under the one to one format and no longer feeling the anxiety over school bullying threats.

Enrollment

Application/ enrollment process details Parents meet with a Campus Manager and complete the enrollment application. We assess each student upon enrollment to gain insight into their current functional academic level, areas in previous learning that may require remediation, and unique learning needs. Armed with that information, staff is able to design programs specific to each of our students that directly address their individual needs and goals while taking advantage of their strengths.
