Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

Cedar Park Christian is not a suitable learning environment. Although there are a few positives (i.e., Math and English courses), on balance there are better options for the money. In retrospect, I wish that we would have reviewed the text books before making CPC our choice. I find the learning material to be repressive and often times insulting. I believe that the environment doesn't foster critical thought, but instead, there is only one way or perspective. In short, my sense is that at a very early age, students are brainwashed. For example, my child presented a very sound argument in a assignment, but was significantly marked down because the teacher viewed the position as "evolution" not "creation". Being able to freely explore critical thought on many issues is frowned upon unless it subscribes to the Assembly of God beliefs and teachings. I must be honest and say that at times the environment feels like a cult. Lastly, there isn't room for students to explore political discussion unless the bend is extremely conservative. Bottom line..... Before making choice, ask to review the text books, read them carefully, and be well informed on how your child will be guided.

My daughter played this school in soccer and the girls were rude three girls body slammed her her back was sprained in three places and her ankle was severely sprained. While many are nice there are students in that school who are extremely bad influences and are rude and can be violent

My Grandson attended another Christian School but all extra help required paying additional money to receive it. As a primary grade child, Cedar Park is committed to each child not being left behind. Teachers are willing to stay after school to help a struggling child. It may not be as fancy as some private schools but was is most important is a child is taught to love to learn reading, writing, math and science. The school is top notch where it counts!

"Money Grubbing" and going after distressed families is shameful! Manipulating issues for monetary gain is disgraceful.

All three kids went to Cedar Park, best education and even better priced. All three went on to college and ranked in the top 5% in academic in their respective schools

Some of the teachers are excellent, and some terrible. The lack of passion for subject matter and the inability to inspire has made us look elsewhere. The recess area is tiny. The lack of technology and an abundance of busy work, worksheets, deskwork makes me feel like it's a classroom from the 60's. We have tried to make up for this at home, but then wonder what we are paying for.

Wide variations in teacher abilities.....I love the quantity of male teachers in concept but have seen extremely competent women let go when obvious examples of lower teacher performance are kept. Great support for sports programs .....performing arts does well with great instructors who struggle with lip service support and no financing from the school. The teachers are loyal and work hard.....actually they have too much expected of them I believe. Teachers loyal to the school but are compromised in some ways by superhuman expectations from their admin who appear to lack empathy and loyalty to their own employed educators to save a buck.

Want a great Christian school, this is the best of the best. The academics are top notch, their sports teams kick butt, drama and band are awesome, and the teachers rock!

Our 5 children attended the elementary/preschool before we relocated to another state. The educational standards was high so my children had no problems adapting to a new school system but more importantly the real Christian training and values influenced them so they were a light even at the church where we currently attend in Tucson, AZ.

I love CPCS because they teach the love of Jesus Christ. It is so important to train our children in God's way in this fallen world, to direct them to God so that when the world throws them upside down, they know where to find Hope. You can find good education at any best schools, however to find the understanding where we stand before God have to start from home and supported by Christian education. CPCS excels spiritually and academically.

My two kids attend the Cedar Park Christian School Bothell Campus. I could not be more pleased with their overall education. The faculty is professional and genuinely love the students, the Lord, and what they do. If you want a school that supports your family in pointing your kids to Christ, choose CPCS.

Cedar Park does a great job of combining education and Christian values within the real world setting, they don't pretend that they are perfect and adapt the curriculum and staff to improve year over year. The majority of the teachers actually care about the students and their families, often going beyond normal school hours to help. This is the only school we found where not only was a to notch education important, so were the kids, they often work together in groups to help reinforce lessons and understanding.

As a teacher in the preschool at Cedar Park Christian Schools Lynnwood Campus, the language services program is incredible. All of the kids are learning sign language and the children that are in the language services program are receiving an incredible education and start to life offered no where else! Kids that are delayed or that have a hearing loss that don't qualify for services in their public schools have the opportunity to be served without sacrificing the chance to have the best educational experience possible. The staff are WA state or ACSI certified and professional, the kids love school, and God's love is extremely evident on our campus for all children!

This is a horrible school, more interested in indoctrination than education. Being Christian is fine, but taking the Bible literally and using it as a science book is absurd. Bullying is prevalent at this school, and neither teachers nor administrators do anything worthwhile to stop it. Sending your child to this school is a waste of money and is a disservice to your child.

This school is the best of more than 100 we investigated, they hire the best teachers who actually care about the students. If you want a top notch education and christian upbringing, look no further, this is the school for you!

As a former teacher, current coach and future parent at CPCS, I've seen first hand the ins and outs of the school. I can honestly say there is not better place to educate your child - preschool through 12th grade. They are unwaveringly committed to fully Christian curriculum, living out a personal relationship with Jesus, and preparing kids to be leaders in their communities. Academics are top notch, students consistently score 1.5 grades above public schools. Athletics are very competitive, girls and boys sports consistently claim league, tri-district and state championships. They boast top-quality drama, art and award winning music opportunities. Teachers and coaches are there because they love what they do. They make themselves available for whatever needs the students and parents have. You'll find Christ is put first in all that Cedar Park Christian School does. I can't imagine sending my child to school anywhere else.

Awesome school. My daughter is in grade 2. This is her fifth year here. She also did two years of pre-school at Cedar Park. We could not be happier with the teachers and administration. Class sizes are small and academic standard is high. We have really enjoyed the quality of community amongst the parents as well.
