My son has gone to Hockinson Heights from K-2 and the staff is superb. He has a learning disability with ADHD and the school has been the best for him. I will never take him out of Hockinson School District, they are a great staffed district who actually care about the success of their students.

I have two kids in this school and i love the teachers' involvment in the learning progress of the kids...it's a great school and if i ever have to move, i will sure miss it. I know my kids are safe at school....because for me safety is above everything else,....but both my kids have improved above and beyond my expectations ...they have good teachers...love it!!1

I agree that the principal in this school needs more parent people skills. Also, the staff does not help the children acquire resposibility. The first report cards of the year is when you learn what is to be expected academically. Other than that, the school really pushes children to learn, and I am impressed with what my child is learning.

Most teachers are good, but I think they need to focus more on children with the correct grammar, by correcting them in a positive manner. The school should add more focus to children with disabilities, such as speech delay, etc. The principal needs to learn more 'Parent-people' skills. This is constructive criticism! Love Hockinson schools!

Very good academically. The teachers really care about the students, and there is a lot of parent involvement in the school. I was amazed at the level of personal attention given to my child.

This school has a decent level of parent involvement. What seems to be lacking is the level of technology necessary for students to get a quality start. Basic keyboarding, simple skills should be introduced by 4th grade at minimum since reports are required. Overall, the atmosphere is safe and pleasant.

With a small school atmosphere, caring teachers and staff, and emphasis on literacy Hockinson Primary is top notch. Parents are highly involved which makes a huge difference in what the children are learning, it leaves more 1 on 1 time with the teachers per student. With many extracurricular activities, family nights, science, chess, and more this school is the best in Clark County in my opinion. The small class size enhances the learning process as well as individualized attention aimed at helping students learn at their own rate while increasing their potential. I have been very pleased with the programs and the school.
