The high school was great for me but if you are not a good student and have problems you will fall through the cracks. The counsolers don't seem to be there for the kids that really need guidance

I have been very happy with the quality of teachers and the atmosphere at the school. My son has chosen to not participate in extracurricular activies event though there are many available and his friends are involved in many, from the music program to various athletic events. I have not been as involved as I could be due to finishing a degree and working full time. I know of many parents who are very involved and I think it's wonderful that parents are encouraged to participate in their children's high school events. There are things that could be improved but overall I would say that CHS is a fairly good school with a strong focus on student success. You get what you give.

There is tons of parent involvement at CHS, that is the reason the activities and athletics are so successful! Everyone grows up together in this smaller community so it has a close-knit atmosphere, everyone knows each other. Academically it is not the toughest, however. There are select teachers who are the best in the world!!

I thought that clarkston high school was not all it is cracked up to be. I was expecting alot better programs and activities. I was very disappionted that there is little or no parent involvement. However I thought that the school itself was very nice and exceptionally clean.
