I believe this is the best middle school in the area. The teachers are highly educated and really commit to the education and development of the students. They are constantly adding more sports and clubs and other activities. they promote goal setting and career planning through presentations during lunch where students are invited to listen to guest speakers from the area share their stories about life, education, and how they came to their career status. In addition, they really have stepped up their assistance to students who are at-risk for dropping out. They offer counseling groups, friendship classes, and the WSU gear up program that provides tutors before, during and after school.
