I am shocked at the one entry that said that the principal last year at Midway did not seem qualified. I'm a parent, as well as an educator, and Midway was and continues to be a wonderful place of learning for our children. I held last year's principal in high regard. She did a great job leading as an interm principal and I for one am thankful for her efforts. The parent who said they were disappointed may have had a bad experience. But that one negative comment on this website in NO WAY changes the fact that Midway is an exceptional place of learning for my children.

I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful school for my children to attend. The teachers are so caring, a first grade teacher we had takes time after school to help kids in reading, she stays after an extra hour every day to help her students be the best they can be. These teachers really care. We have been at Midway for 7 years now. I could not have asked for a better School.

I have to say that I have been very disappointed with this school. When we moved into this school district, I had heard good things about Midway. However, the school has a new principal this year and I am not impressed. To me, the principal sets the tone for how the school is run. This new principal does not seem qualified for the position and this brings the school down. At this time, I wish we had chosen a different school for our children. It is very disappointing.

Midway is such a wonderful school, the teachers, the staff they work hard to create a safe and secure learning environment. They focus on the whole child and teach then to appreciate themselves and others. We couldn't be happier with them!

We went from dist 81 to Midway. At Midway, all of the parents support and show up at every activity we were involved in. The teachers can teach because parents parent.
