I don't know what school that other student attended, but I believe that WWVA is the best school I have ever gone to. I find every teacher exceptionatly helpful and willing to make time for each individual student. I find as I have gone to that school, my spiritual life has grown. I believe this school's educational standards are excellent. It may push you harder than most schools (I have friends who, after going to WWVA, realize how easy other schools are on you) but this will really prepare your child for college, so he/she knows what to expect. GO KNIGHTS!!!
Hey, I'm a student at this school. I think that the teachers are great and all, but what really surprised me after going from a public school to here that the students are so NICE!! I expected it to be no different from the atmosphere at my previous school. As soon as I walked through the door three people smiled, asked my name, and welcomed me to WWVA. I realize that not every school is perfect, and neither is WWVA, but I've never felt more accepted.
My 2 children attended. EXCELLENT education. The only thing would have been better is if they had been a bit more tolerant of those outside the stringent beliefs of the church.
I attended walla walla valley academy or WWVA as it is known around town, I had the absolute worst experience of my educational career, i found the staff to be unhelpful and uncaring dotting only on their favorites, the staff and a few of the alumni were very judgmental, the schools material is also old and the gym lacks air conditioning. The sports program takes a back seat to chapel. The teachers and administration seem to take all their joy in disciplining students and not in taking a genuine interest in their education and well being, also once i hit college i found myself very unprepared for the writing styles required by the professors. Since wwva does not introduce you to the formats neeeded.
This school provides great education for the students. The principal is very involved and everyone loves him.
Fantastic education here!
