My son is first year here. I agree that teachers don't put any efforts to communicate wth the parents. I send an email to two different teachers & non of them replied. I am very disappointed as a parent I want know how my child is doing.

this our son's 2nd year here. the staff is very child like but that problem starts with the principal. i feel that the families that dont come from money and are not of the right race are not welcome at this school.

My child is in her second year at Pacific. She is a good student but hates going to school. She has had some very unprofessional teachers at PMS. Teachers showing childish tempers and making rude comments to students. It must be a tough job, but I wish my child did not have to attend there. Now add Danger. My child witnessed a brutal attack on a girl in the hall after school. Her pony tail was grabbed from behind, held, and the much larger student continually punched her in the face, bloodying her mouth, giving her a black eye. The emotional damage to her and the witnesses will hang on.

I have had four children go through this school and have had nothing but issues. The teachers dont communicate until its too late if they do at all. Even if you give them the information individually they still dont. The rest of the staff is not supportive or active when you have a concern either. In my opinion middle school at Pacific is a waste of time for everyone. They really need to step it up and provide the education our children all deserve. My youngest went from being an A student and had nothing but issues at Pacific, and they werent issues with the kid! If you have a choice...dont pick pacific and write letters to the district, they need to do something!

my student is just finishing up her first year at pacific and I am very dissapointed in the academic programs and the attitudes of the teachers. She went from honors to F's and I am transferring her to a different school next year. The pricipal does not have a clue.

The school lacks the respect for students that is taught in the weekly 'college' classes. Personal safety and learning is not a priority to some of the staff. Some teachers have a severe lack of control in the classroom and allow bullying to take place (even when they are present in the classroom). Consequences for behavior when a substitute teacher is in charge are not followed. The language students are allowed to use is appalling. I believe in the public school system and I am very disappointed in what is allowed to take place in this school on a daily basis. - Disgruntled & Frustrated Parent

I am impressed with the school and the teachers. They take an interest in the students and communicate with the parent(s)/guardian(s). Wish there was more money for the schools so more activities were available.
