Awesome, school parent involvment is wanted and the teachers love it. My son is learning so much and I feel like there is level of respect for the kids and feel that we still get the small town feel, Budget cuts are hard but the school is doing well still.

A school that does not get the respect it deserves. The teachers and parents are dedicated to providing a safe and high quality learning environment. Music, art and sports still play an important role in this school at a time when many schools are cutting these programs because of budget concerns and the emphasis on achieving high test scores. This school proves that test scores are not the only key to a solid elementary education.

We moved to this rural area for the small-town effect in raising our children 10 years ago, unfortunately many other families have had the same idea in the past 5-7 years also. With the area booming beyond belief, the school district has been incredibly slow to grow as well. In a recent rezoning for balance in number of kids between the 3 grade schools, there seems to be no benefit to class size and the estimated number of students to each class for 05-06 is projected at 28-30, up dramatically from average of 18-23. There is a fantastic newer music/band program & teacher and the PTA has created some extra after school programs the past year that will be promising if continued.
