I am a student at Edgemont Jr. High and I think it is a wonderful school with a ton of great student. Most teacher are good, but everything is so base on the WASL it is pointless. The music programs are excellent. We are a very small school but always do extremely well. There are always a couple of parents who help out at school but most kids don't want parents around there school. Oh and Edgemont is very strict about dress codes and PDA.

Great school and academic programs. Sports are offered, yet when playing other Junior Highs, it seems our teams are always small in comparison. Do we have a low turnout? can we get more student involvement? Would like to see more feeback and positive reinforcement from coaches and teachers.

The teachers are good, although there isn't much electives and extracurricular activities. Parent involvement is okay, but i've seen better.

Very nice community with a high level of parent involvement. Small school in number of students. Could be an outstanding junior high except that the students are not asked to work beyond what is expected to pass the WASL.
