Love that Zion is set on a large beautiful piece of property with lots of trees and grass. My kids love the nature and the fact that their teachers take them outside on beautiful days to read and write. The teachers and staff love the kids and we really feel like a close knit community. We also appreciate the diversity Zion offers and see's the possibility of a mission in many different areas. Thank you, teachers we love you all!!

Zion Lutheran School is an amazing place to have your children learn a great education plan which also includes learning the Word of God in a Christ centered learning environment. The staff and teachers are very friendly and I love that the class sizes are smaller. Zion also offers a great art and music program as they put on plays and performance throughout the school year. This is a great and safe place to your children.

Enrolling our child at this school was THE BEST family decision we have ever made. We only wish we had taken this step a few years prior. The faculty and staff genuinely nurture the entire child, helping them develop life and executive skills necessary to not only be a good student, but also prepare for the high school years and beyond. It is wonderful to have so many 'Arts' opportunities that are being removed in most schools, leaving less opportunity for children to develop creativity and a sense of self. Our child's first reaction when visiting the school for the first time: "I love all the trees. It is so nice not to have so many buildings around it".

Zion Lutheran Christian School has been the best decision not only for our two children, but for our family as well. Zion is a *safe place* where we feel comfortable leaving our children for the school day. Zion has a strong sense of community because our parents are involved from the PTL standpoint to how we help the teachers in the classroom. Praise God for this gem of a school on 20 beautiful acres!

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
