when i went to this school it had to be the most awesome school ever but there was only one thing that made me hate it.......the music teacher i love music so much but the music she had was just plan awefull. if they had a nicer teacher and way better music i would give it a 5 but until the 3
both of my children went to odysee for years the school is awesome good teachers good curriculum. for 1 year we had to leave n they went to a school in edmonds and their academics dropped i decided to get them out of that school n put them back in odysee and when I did they did much better. N not to mention the kids are a lot more friendlier too. my nephew went to odysee as well n he loved it and did very well.
My daughters both currently attend and we as a family absolutely love Odyssey!! Ms. Boze is wonderful, she is very involved with her students and staff. The school does have back to back teachers in some of the grades. I think it's a wonderful way for the teachers to get to know their students and help them be stronger students when the advance onto the next grade.
What a great school! Of all the schools I've volunteered in, this is the best. All the teachers care about their students, even though they show it in a multitude of ways depending on the teacher's personality. All the teachers do a multitude of activities in order to teach in all subject areas. The teachers interact with each other in order to teach a subject and to give the kids variety in their day. Most of all, the school is geared toward teaching all kids from 1-5th grade expectations about organization so they know how to organize themselves for learning. New kids to the school quickly see that all kids want to learn and they learn to fit in and do what is expected. I can't say enough about the students, teachers and especially the principal who leads this staff to do their best.
this school is a great school. ms.boze is very nice.all the teachers are very helpful and kind. take it from a peorson who went there.
Ms. Boze won WA principal of the year in 2007 - this school is full of teachers who work above and beyond their required hours to help the many students. Those who are complaining about music and PE not starting until 3rd grade should realize that this is a Mukilteo School District policy. Music and PE are provided as plan time coverage starting at 3rd grade, when the student day is an hour longer.
physical education is not offered until 3rd grade. Need new activities. Discipline is harsh. Awesome principal. Ms. Boze you're the best.
great parent involvement, not a great amount of extracurricular activities. The higher grades have more activities, such as music and sports.
