Two of kids went to Twin Lakes and we are all very pleased with programs and teachers especially Mr. Miller he is a tireless principle who really cares about the kids and their well being keep up the great work!
My two grandsons attend Twin Lakes elementary school and really love it. The second grader appreciates his new reading skills and the 5 year old has special help with his speech and is doing wonderfully. My son-in-law vollunteers there and both my daughter and he love the after school sports events as well as the academic success their sons are achieving. I am a proud grandma and school supporter as well. PTA members deserve a thank-you as well as a great teaching staff. Way to go Twin Lakes!!
My 2 girls are so proud when asked the school they attend by friends & family. They respond: Twin Lakes Elementary is the best school around! They love their teachers and have the highest respect for them and their opinions. The new principal is fantastic! A real action driven, pro-active type of person. The teachers my kids have had are great people who definetely care about them and they realize they are helping to create our countries next generation of educated leaders!
This school provided a great educational beginning for my kids
Twin Lakes is a great school. The programs available to support children are beneficial, and the extra curricular activities are free and fun. The school provides honor choir, track, and many PTA supported programs. Parents can be seen at the school and are highly supportive of their children. The teachers are friendly and open to working with children in a variety of ways. Twin Lakes has been a great school!
This school puts a lot of emphasis on reading skills and is using a Read and Lead program. The children have a reading minutes goal for the year and earn prizes for attaining it. Parent involvement is encouraged and there are a moderate amount of opportunities, usually within the PTA. They have a music teacher on staff and have several concerts throughout the year. As far as other activities, they have a track and field day, school beautification days, PTA sponsored events, science fairs and encourage children to apply for jobs around the school(picking balls up, crosswalk duty, lunch cleanup etc) It is a fairly small school and has a very friendly and available staff.
