FHHS is a great small high school, that offers a surprising array of Advanced Placement, art, music, and athletics for a school of its size. My two kids have flourished there, and the one who has already graduated was accepted into very prestigious universities. The teachers, staff, and principal all show interest in individual student's success.
Friday Harbor High School is a very good small high school. If kids are willing to work hard, they will get a lot out of the teachers and staff at this school. The teachers are dedicated and the pricipal sets the right tone. The community gets behind the students and supports them both academically and athletically. The breadth of programs available is remarkable for a school of this size. The teachers and staff work well to gether and get results. FHHS regularly sends kids off to Stanford, MIT, UCLA and other top notch schools.
This is a horrible school that does not prepare any student for college or career.
