The academics at this school are great. My children are getting good grades and encouraged to excel. The no bullying policy actually works, and the teachers are great about not allowing unfriendly behavior from the students. One of my children's teachers is amazing. She cares deeply for each child and it shows. She respects their minds, as well as their hearts. And if I were just reviewing her, this school would receive 5 stars from me. Unfortunately my other child's teacher is not the same. The fact that she's strict doesn't bother me, but she's unloving and lacks the warmth a teacher of a lower grade should have. On every other account though, I really like this school. They are much more advanced than the local public schools in their academics as well. I would certainly put my kids in this school next year, especially knowing that my youngest will not have the 'unloving' teacher next year.
My children have been attending this school now for 6 years. At first I was very inpressed with the staff and the school overall. They have a great way of teaching and are more advance then public school. The last 2 years this school has changed. It's not as friendly as it used t be, there seems to be less of a teacher parent involvement and the teachers seemed stressed. They gave their teahcers a pay cut due to the lack of funds and you can tell that has affected them. They have changed out there office staff and she is not as friendly as the one from before. Mrs Sherman the head of the school is very nice and I love her but the princeple Mrs Cooksly is not friendly and a lot of the kids think she is mean and for this being a christian based school they shouldn't think that of her. I'm sorry to say but as soon as I find and can afford abother school I will be leaving. Sorry
Prayer in school just the way it was meant to be!
I am impressed by the curriculum and the ability of the teachers. I appreciate how involved the teachers are with their students in and out of school! My niece lives it there!
New Hope is a loving environment with teachers who honestly care about the students they are teaching. The students receive not only the best in education from these teachers, but they are also learning about the Lord's love and the Truth that they need about our Savior Jesus Christ. We couldn't ask for a better blessing than to be a part of this school family!!
Children learn a Christian world view in a loving and challenging atmosphere.
Great staff and teachers who love the kids and care about them and their education. The kids are the best you can find.
I love New Hope Christian School because it gives my boys a place to freely learn and talk about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is also an environment that strives to help children succeed academically, but also strives to bring them up to have a firm foundation in strong character and values. The teachers there truly care about each student. This is not just "a job" to the teachers and staff. My boys (and I!) are developing friendships that will likely be lifelong. I am grateful and proud that my children can be a part of New Hope Christian School.
All three of my kids went to New Hope. All kids from different denominations are welcomed and loved there. This is a school that cares about the heart of your child.
Awesome teachers, students, families. The ability to worship GOD!!
