I had a child who attended Lincoln in the 2nd and 3rd grade. She is special needs and while I felt her teachers did their best, I found the principle and general organization of the school to be lacking. The principle on more than one occasion failed to be in contact with me as a parent when it came to pertinent issues with my daughter. And failed to call back when I had left messages with her to please call. I found her to "jump the gun" when it came to displine and wasn't interested in getting feed back from her staff. My daughter missed the bus SEVERAL times in the two years she attended Lincoln. She is "special needs" and needed extra help and it wasn't until I became upset that they assigned a person to help keep her on track. Even after that she missed the bus a couple more times. I also sent notes with my daughter and would call if she needed to ride an alternate bus, and they still would put her on the wrong bus. And I know I'm not the only one this became an issue with. She had attended a few other schools and this is the only school she had these type of issues with.
A nice small town school, with great faculty and students alike.
I have found Lincoln to be a place where students are constantly challenged to do their best in all academic areas. Family involvement is incorporated in school activities and goals. It is a wonderful place to work.
This is A horrible school if you have children with special needs. I have 3 children 9,9, and 7 and none of my children can read or right because teachers constantly put my children in the back of the room with no individual attention left to fend for themselves. And every step of the way doors have been closed in my face as I continue to try and help my children.
I appreciate the way Lincoln school put the safety of the kids first. They are also very good at communicating with the parents. Great academic standards too.
Top Notch School. Small enough to give attention to kids without being overwhelmed. Very Friendly environment to help kids learn. Lots of parent involvement.
