The staff at this school is beyond words. My daughter is in 1st grade and she is highly allergic to Peanuts. The staff there was trained how to take care of my daughter in case of a bad reaction. They also made a whole table in the lunch room peanut free. The class that she was in also was peanut free. That made me feel like my little princess was very safe at school. They exceeded my expectations for a public school. She absolutely adored her teacher and all the classmates.

My daughter goes to Emerson and is in the 1st grade. She loves the school and the staff. She has been at Emerson since pre-school, and has grown so much in the past years.

we just moved to the area and my son is attending Emerson. We all just love the school. The staff is friendly and courteouse and you see no discrimination here. The last school he was in we saw alot of it. I think we are really going to enjoy Emerson.

I was impressed with my son's kindergarten teacher but the principal left a bit to be desired. She seemed to favor some kids over others.

Our daughter began Kindergarten at Emerson after vigorous early placement testing. I was impressed with the staff from the first day. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. After being involoved in the classroom and PTO meetings, I would encourage all parents looking for the perfect start for their youngster to give Emerson a try. This is a school where manners and good behavior is encouraged... something you don't find very often. Emerson also allows youngsters the opportunity to be apart of their school. And not to leave out the fact they are Preschool - 1st only, which gives children a sense of ownership and freedom that they sometimes loose in schools with older kids. I appreciate the staff and their efforts to make this a school that values children and families alike. Keep up the good work Emerson staff!
