Absolutely love this school!! We have been part of this community for almost 7 years. Top notch academics, dedicated teachers, small class sizes. We drive right past a brand new public school in a good district to take our kids to St. Joe's!!!!! The tuition is an amazing value and worth every penny.

Teacher effectiveness: Strongly agree

With small class sizes a teacher can watch a child that might be having a little more difficulty sitting still or concentrating where sometimes that gets lost in larger class sizes.

Amount of homework: Agree

Nobody likes homework but they need to do it in order to learn the routine for when they get older in high school and then again in college.

Develops character: Strongly agree

It's all part of the curriculum treating others fairly as you would have them treat you. If any of the staff sees a student doing something nice for another student or a staff member they are immediately given a paper commending them, so it creates positive reinforcement. There are rewards for attendance and academic skill but there's also an award for compassion and empathy towards others.

Great staff. Small class size. Extra help and after care if needed. Great value for the price.
