Evergreen Elementary School

My daughter's teacher lack's concentration and ability to concentrate to provide detail when guidance is needed. When grades fall, was told there was no time for a parent teacher conference. The academic standards are substandard and may be due to class size. Tests were given to determine school funding and graded with the wrong key. There was no problem sending out the results that everyone did badly but a huge hesitation in telling parents there was a mistake or even correcting the grading so the parents could actually know where there child stood.

Evergreen strives to integrate best practices into it's learning environment. The staff is kind, eager to help and offers a very nurturing place to learn. The music program is outstanding and although we are far out on the Peninsula, there are plenty of opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities. Evergreen offers an After Our's program that allows students to have extra help with homework as well as participate in a variety of activities such as cooking, Spanish, science and harmonica. Overall, although it is small, Evergreen has a lot of heart.
