My daughter has had a 3.8-4.0 GPA for over 2 years now coming from middle school. She works hard, completes all her assignments. She stays up late finishing homework and studies for tests. This is her first year in this school and she has an "F" in math and she is 2 points away from getting an "A" in Science. My daughter stays after school almost every day to get extra help (I use the word "help" loosely) and is still having a tough time in math. We met with the math teacher and were told several times to "read the syllabus." Students in geometry are graded on the "Standard" ONLY, so no homework or any other activities count toward the student's grade. My daughter asked her science teacher what she could do to get the "A" instead of the "B" and he told her he doesn't offer extra credit (almost never), and it's soooooooooo rare. This is the story of many of my daughter's classmates also, so it's not an isolated situation. We are going to meet with her advisor and see if we can get her into another math class. The future is never bright if we reward hard work and dedication with disregard and apathy.

Clover Park High School had a good college prep program. Overall the teachers were very approachable and committed to student excellence.

I just graduated from Clover Park High School last year (June 2008) and I am proud to say I did. It is a wonderful school with brilliant teachers and administrators. They are passionate about the students and do everything to help out the students. Teachers, administrators, and counselors are more than happy to stay after school to help with schoolwork or personal life. It is an awesome school and you learn so much more than just the academics.

This school has teachers who are not into listening to their students, there is no real challenges for children who are smart, the teachers do not listen to the parents. They believe that it is their job to make a well- rounded child, forcing the child to be creative which would be okay if you had a creative child but what about a child who isn't creative or musically inclined? The standards of american schools is plummeting without real regards of what the child needs for their future. ?

I went to this school for one year, and they made me feel so welcome there. It's a place for everyone! I'm so happy I made so many friends there!

I love clover Park high school, it has its own unique vibe, the atmosphere is calm and slow paced. I have had an excellent experience at CP as far teachers go. One teacher in particular, my biology teacher, was probably one of the most committed teachers I've ever had. They all have different and interesting approaches to getting their students excited about learning.

I noticed that the last review was done in 2006. There have been many changes done in the last year and students and staff are energized and enthusiastic about the direction of the school. These websites are good for general information, but to really decide if a school is a good match for your child, you need to visit the school and talk with the principal. There are many opportunities for students at Clover Park.

My son attends Clover Park High School and it is by far one of the worst schools I have seen! We moved here from an urban L.A area and this neighborhoods just as bad! There are always fights at the school and gangs roam the hallways. Parents need to get more involved in the school and the poor administration doesn't make it any easier.

Clover Park High School is one of the worst schools I have seen, and that is not being dramatic in the least. Teachers struggle with students being disruptive almost constantly, and because the punishment is almost always spared it's next to impossible to get through a single assignment in an english class. Amusingly, for all the bad reviews of the kids (which there are a medium-large set of dangerous, disruptive students) the worst part of CPHS is the staff. If your child attends this high school they will not be treated as a person by administrative heads. CPHS's one redeeming quality is a set of amazing, dedicated teachers. There are many gems in the school.
