I am a graduate of Bayview School. This school met all my needs as a student to help me to graduate. I volunterily went to this school my sohphomore year. I had my son in August and went to school that September. They were so flexible with my schedule and the time I needed with my son. I was and am very pleased to have had the great teachers that taught me adn Bayview School. While attending I met students that i had never seen or talked to and became instant friends with almost all who attended. They offered me a great senior year and all the teachers were supportive and encouraging. Although this is an alternative school i never felt any different then the kids attending the regular high school. I am very pleased to say that I am a graduate from Bayview School (who graduated on time).

I am a student at Bayview School. This will be my senior year and I have been going here for my entire high school career. I remember before I came here I was picked out and ridiculed by both students and staff at other schools and often overlooked in times of need. Bayview School has offered me an enviroment where I can learn and grow, free of disrespect and shame. The teachers genuinely care about us and are happy take time to work with students that need attention, verses unnecesary punishment. I don't know of another school that puts such an emphasis on respect and self worth. And that is exactly what is usually missing in any given school scene.

Bayview Alternative School has helped our daughter to want to stay in school! The staff has been easy to communicate with and always helpful on many levels I had not experienced before. They are caring and supportive as well as being great teachers. They encouraged our daughter to challenge herself. I believe that we lead by example and our daughter is one to step back to see if she wants to be part of what she sees going on. A heartfelt thanks to those teachers at Bayview Alternative for mentoring and leading our teen. At first we had reservations about the alternative school but in no time changed our outlook and now would not hesitate to recommend it. Our daughter has been there 3 yrs and made great progress. We support this school and hope others gain from being a part of its positive growth.

This is an incredible program, many kids would have dropped out if they had not gone here, many students say they would have never gotten their deplomas if it was not for this alternative, all these kids are leaving other comunity schools becasue this school better meets their needs. Also there is a leukemia fundraiser, money rasied for local events, commmunity service with the elderly all as a part of the school, which many sometimes looked down upon but really is an incredible program.
