Our high school daughter was struggling with math and science. She thought she didn't like school and wouldn't even discuss the topic. American Academy was suggested by friends as a good tutoring source. Our daugher's grades have moved from D/Fs in these subjects to B/C (and still getting better) after one year of this tutoring. More importantly, she now enjoys the subjects so she can better coach herself in them. She also was helped in strategies for test taking that's good for various other requirements. It's not cheap, but we find it well worth the price.
