My family move from Scottsdale AZ. Monroe is awesome - from Mr. Gilday welcoming us our first day to the teachers follow up with us parents. Very refreshing to know that real teachers still do exist, the ones that call you in the evening to let you know how your child is doing. We look forward to a prosperous education and learning experience for our son in the Sleepy little town of Monroe, WA.

We are not very impressed with this school. Coming from one of the top elementary schools in Mesa, AZ, there's just not much to compare. No beginning band for 6th graders this year, they constantly watch movies in one of my son's classes, homework is nonexsistent, and not much in the way of extracurricular activities. Lunch break is spent in the library on the internet for many kids, and I find it disturbing. Overall our son has had a very bad experience at this school.
