Everyone who works or attends school here really seems to care about the school and the community. It was a joy to work here.
If your child has a disability this may not be the school for them. The school is concerned more about budget than the individual student and their needs to an appropriate education.
Montesano's Band program is one of the best in Grays Harbor County thanks to their new band director. In the past three years they have won numerous awards at contests, competitions and festivals. Monte has sent students to the State Solo & Ensemble Contest. Kudos to Monte Pride ~ Loud & Proud!
Montesano has the best supportive community of teachers in the state. They all know how to help the students and they always perpare the students for the futute.
This is a wonderfully supportive community of students. There are lots of activities available to keep everyone busy. There is not a lot of support for the performing arts but the programs are managing to make themselves known anyway.
This is a great school to send your kids. All the teachers are great and the sports are a good way to learn the social aspects of life.
