:Naselle's administration effectiveness has gone up and down over the years. It is currently reaching an all time low. The grading system Naselle uses to keep us "informed", is often not completed by teachers. It isn't until parents get the paper copy in the mail do we really see what our childs academic progress is. When administration is contacted they repeatedly refer parents back to the teachers, who have endless reasons why the grading is behind. There is a lack accountablity for the teaching staff. This school needs to get back to supporting the students in their building, and make the teachers do their job. My child has mentioned several times that the high school teachers often leave the room completely during class. I have brought this to the head office several times, but nothing seems to change.
I think overall Naselle is a good school but I do think there are thing they could work on like the lunch program. In high school students aren't getting what they ordered. A survey taken by the Freshmen class showed that at least 2 times a week students did not get what they ordered for lunch.I think all the teachers are great and I love how each student gets individual attention. -Samantha Bauer
It's sad to see the negative comments posted. Naselle is the best school in the county...And those who are actively and positively involved know it. The teachers put in a lot of time and effort to educate the kids, the administration is concerned about the safety of all, as demonstrated by the correcting of the air quality. Lots of time and money put into getting that issue taken care of. (I guess there's no pleasing some people.) The community participation at sports events has tripled from previous years, the morale of the staff & sports programs has greatly improved, and naselle can boast a successful music and drama program. Great staff, administration and a board that finally works together without overblown egos. Naselle=aaa+++
We love naselle. The administration is doing a great job. The integrity of the sports programs have improved 1000%....The kids look great in the suits before the games. What a great tradition to start again. It's obvious the basketball team has more pride in themselves. Hold the standard high and kids will rise to that level. Keep up the good work!
Naselle is an excellent school district. Top of the line in every way.
Naselle Junior Senior High School is a extreamly good school for academic programs. The music, art, sports are well coached and taught by the staff. The parent envolvment in Naselle is really high. The parents get involved in every activity that Naselle has to offer.
Naselle is a top notch school, the best around! We are very happy with the present teachers and administration. What a great place for kids! Keep up the great work!
The lack of honesty and integrity in the Naselle school administration is truly sad. They need to do what is in the best interest of the students and significantly improve their current lack of professionalism.
