Dr. Carter's program is a winner for H.S. kids that need a firm hand. The facility is clean and well kept, it is a family atmosphere and school is on site. The biggest short fall is the lack of a strong 'secondary staff' to relieve Dr. Cater and keep the parents more advised on the progress of their sons. Turn over in the staff has been very high.

Shamrock was the greatest thing that ever happened for me. The supportive environment helped me change from a child into a young man. In the year and a half that I spent at Shamrock, I was helped the entire way. During the most tragic time of my life, they were there right beside me to pick me up when I was down The dedicated staff provides you with many opportunities to succeed and the skills to accomplish it. There are also many opportunities to go on amazing trips, such as a S.C.U.B.A. Diving trip to Honduras. I made many friends while I was at Shamrock, and it feels like I have a second family there. When I graduated the program I felt like I was leaving my home for a second time. I will always know that there will be a place at Shamrock s table if I ever need it.

I am a single parent and my son has attended Shamrock Educational Academy going on four years now and I can honestly say that if it weren't for the guidance and help he has gotten from Dr. Carter and staff at Shamrock Educational Academy he would never be were he is today. He has a 3.7 GPA and great study skills. He attended an automotive technology course this summer at the community college and due to his study skills he has obtained my son was able to get the highest score in both classes offered. Instructors as well as parents have commented on what a polite, well mannered son I have. This is due to the hard work and commitment and faith ADr. Carter has had in my son.

I spent a total of two years in the program and can say that without the help and support given to me by the staff of Shamrock, I would not be the same person I am today. Since graduating, I have finished my first year of college and have returned to Shamrock as a staff. I love spending time at the school and seeing the boys. Seeing them progress throughout the week makes working there fun. The schooling is thorough and the students have help from teachers, students, and staff to assist them with an understanding of their schoolwork. Parents are very involved and can call the staff to check how their child is progressing daily. I recommend Shamrock whole-heartedly to anyone looking for a structured, safe, family oriented environment for their child.

I recently visited the school and found it to be a great innovative school for troubled teens. It is family living, tutoring and then mainstreaming back into a regular high school.

I must tell all partents and students that Shamrock Educational Academy is not what it seems. The Man who runs the program runs his program off of fear and hard labor only to benefit himself. The school they do is hardly competent compared to a regular highschool. I attempted to get therapy but they sit in their office on their computer, never getting their full attention. Only talking to your parents once every two week which hardly is enough time to talk about real issues and work out legitamate problems. I would advise to stay away from this school.

Shamrock has proven to be the answer to what our son needed. He's been at Shamrock for 4.5 months, and is already the bright and wonderful son we were afraid we had lost. Shamrock We could not be more delighted in his progress, and the attention he's received from all of the staff and teachers at the school. He's once again the A student we knew he should be, but more importantly, they have helped him find the motivation to be a positive role model for those around him. I give Shamrock my highest recomendation.
