We moved here being told the schools were awesome. What we found was a small district that is WASL driven in its teaching. We have one child who is gifted and one who struggles with special needs. Neither child is receiving what they need because they don't fit within the teachable norm. This is the first time that I have ever thought of homeschooling!
I love this school district it has a very tight community feel. The kids don't feel lost in the crowd of a million kids like in some of the other districts. I am a graduate of Lakeside High School, and did everything possible to move back out here before My daughters started school, and I am very glad I did!!!
Great school! Great principal, teachers, and staff! Very caring. My son LOVES this school!
