I am a former student of Okanogan elementary and high school. I loved going to school there. There were no bad crowds to get involved in, there were many great teachers, the activities were always fun and the classes were entertaining/educational. I am now ready to graduate college to be a math teacher and my greatest influence was okanogan's teachers. -Terry Hoehn

Okanogan High School does not help it's students be successful. They do not work closely enough with students and parents to make sure that everyone understands and completes the culminating project. This school will lose money because kids are dropping out in the senior year because they fail one project, even with a GPA thats OK. The student fails, the school fails, they are failing each other. It's not right.

Im acctually not a parent, but a former student I've been going to Okanogan all my life not just high school but elementry school also. I moved when I was in 10th grade to Wenatchee. All I have to say is that I would not go anywhere else but Okanogan high school, the teachers there are the best around. They listen and under stand you for who you are and deal with you in the most reasonable ways. On my scale Okanogan high school is more than a 10!

I would like to say that I am glad that my children are enrolled in OK School district. I feel that they are safe there and being well educated. My kids are getting good grades. I enjoy getting to know the teachers and staff members. The kids are going to make the difference in are world when they complete their education.

I've had three children graduate from Okanogan. They were each successful students in their own right. They were encouraged to do their best by us, their parents, and by the Okanogan staff. Students get out of school what they put into it. With encouragement, love, and guidance, from parents and teachers, all children can be successful students. I'm proud to say that two of my children have graduated from college, and one will graduate in June. One child is a teacher, and the other is in the process of getting her masters in education. The third child is majoring in business and financing. My husband and I never finished college. We are so proud of our children. We couldn't have taught them ourselves. I'm glad their are qualified, caring educators in our schools in Okanogan.

The schools overall apearance is that of a prision on the outside. Teachers are more like ring masters than teachers. Too many children get made fun of and teased and yet nothing is done.
