Our daughter is our third child to attend Nova. We have found the small class sizes and personal attention from teachers to be very beneficial. Teachers know each student and work with them and their parents to make the most of these important 3 years. If there are issues that arise, teachers are great with communication and in our experiences very helpful and willing to collaborate for the best outcome. The pace of schoolwork seems a bit accelerated. There doesn't seem to be time for anyone to sit around and get bored. Students learn to take responsibility for their work and become proactive in their education. Our older children entered high school with solid study skills and strong work ethic. This good foundation has carried into their university experience. They have continued to build on those formative years. To address an earlier comment; Parent involvement is required and if the family doesn't complete their volunteer hours they are billed for the remaining time. This is fully explained in the contract signed at the beginning of the year .

Parents involvement is forced or you have to pay around $600 more than the actual tuition. Teachers don t get paid to have after school classes/ activities but parents do. Nova gives all the credit of the kids success at the after school activities and winning at the competitions to the school and they use it on their advertisements. Just some of the teachers are quality teachers. Teachers communications aren t professional. They get easily offended by parent s suggestions or questions and they treat your kid differently. They put lots of negative characterization on the school report for the each kid which the parents get so offended. Discipline is too loose or too harsh which the kids are so confused. The rules aren t clear for kids. The kids play soccer on the muddy field and they have to take their shoes off to get to inside even they have to go to the bathroom with no shoes. The kids have to do PE outside in the heavy rain and sit in the classroom all wet for the rest of the day. They also eat outside because there is not enough space for kids to eat inside.

NOVA has provided an excellent middle school experience for my son. He's surrounded by a close-knit community of bright, eager kids, and caring, challenging teachers.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
