I attended Queen of Angels from Pre-school to 8th grade. This was over 10 years ago. I am pleased to say that several of the people working at the school today also worked there when I attended. This is saying a lot for the school. It is a school that prepared me well for life's endeavors and one that I continue to support in any way that I can. I highly suggest taking a look at Queen of Angels if you live in the Port Angeles area.

It's a school that makes me feel good when I walk in. I feel good that my child is receiving an excellent education with GOD in his every day. It has such a family kind of atmosphere and I know my child is taken care of. The leadership and speaking abilities that are taught are incredible. The compliments that this school gets when a student is elsewhere in a speaking engagement are something to be proud of. There are just too many reasons to state. This school is the best.

Just a great school. I have been blessed to have had my children attend this school for the last 10 years. Teachers are nice and treat each child wonderfully. Everyone there is like one big family. Safe and secure buildings. I really like how good they are about not letting children leave school unless by the methods parents have approved, ie. bus, walking or who is allowed to pick the child up.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

More from this school
  • Queen of Angels School is a regional Catholic school, affiliated with the Archdiocese of Seattle, serving the North Olympic Peninsula. We are fully accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and the Western Catholic Education Association. We offer a dynamic curriculum for Pre-K through 8th grade, stressing fundamentals while teaching higher level thinking. Our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them academically, emotionally, and spiritually for high school and beyond. We take great pride in our Catholic identity, and spiritual formation is an important part of our curriculum. Classes are taught with an emphasis on technology; and students have access to a library and computer lab, with extensive training in computer applications. We are a part of Queen of Angels parish, but we draw students from neighboring parishes as well as from other faiths. Financial assistance is available for those students who need it. Please contact Principal Mike Juhas for more information about our school; the first day of classes is September 1, 2010.
