I'm happy that my grandson learns about the environment, farming, and animal care while getting his ABCs.

This school takes a wholistic approach to learning. For example, when they teach about a particular country, they study the history, geography, literature, language, culture, etc. They also teach how to plant crops and flowers from seeds, teach irrigation and planting indigenous to the area and how to care for animals. They include parents in parts of the learning process and that way everyone is learning and participating. They emphasize kindness and humane treatment and inclusion of one another regardless of differences.

Sunfield keeps the educational experience grounded, functional, engaging and practical. The approach is to encourage student passions thereby promoting students to discover the spectrum of knowledge those passions require for mastery.

The kids get to be on a farm, a beautiful 81-acre farm! There they learn where their food comes from and how to grow it and take care of the farm animals.
