After attending 5 years at Jefferson Community School in Port Townsend, my son just completed IB placement exams for English, Math and Spanish -- He qualified for High Level in all 3 subjects! In addition to the richness of community building and expeditions, JCS prepared him very well academically. I am extremely pleased with the success of this school. The dynamic staff inspires students to rise to their highest goals.
JCS is an incredible family of students learning through exploration, discovery and critical thinking. Expeditions, community service and multi-age, small classes encourage the students to dream big and achieve those dreams
