So far, I have been extremely pleased with my children's education and school community at Jefferson! While the academic standards are high at Jefferson, the teachers have not forgotten what it is like to be a kid and integrate many fun activities into their curriculum.
Sunnyside has provided my children with an excellent foundation, which they will carry with them throughout their schooling. The curriculum is top-notch, and the teachers really care about the kids' progress and education. The school provides orchestra beginning in the fourth grade and music classes k-5th. In addition to the great teachers, the majority of the parents are heavily involved in their childrens' educations. Overall, every child has the chance to excel at Sunnyside. The principal, Rosalie Waters is also very open to working with parents to help the children succeed. She is a true asset to the institution of education!
