Karshner Elementary School

We have been at this school for many years. Over the past 2-3 years the atmosphere has gone from warm and inviting to cold and uncomfortable. It saddens me to see this. The kids no longer think school is fun. It is not because of the teachers it is the leadership. The principal is so worried about her image that she has forgot about the kids. She over manages the teachers, parents, and the kids. Every year more and more parents are moving their children to surrounding schools. We will as well be pulling our student. However if you only speak Spanish this is a great school for you that is the main focus to make sure all Spanish Speaking families are taken care of. However if you are non Spanish Speaking you will be pushed to the side.

I love visiting Karshner. the atmoshpere is warm and friendly, yet there is a sense of structure and organization. The halls are used as showcases for many different mediums of children's artwork. The staff members are positive, helpful, and informative. There are many parent events that are relevant and fun for the whole family!

My boys love there school. The staff is friendly and courteous. The principal is wonderful and full of life and positive energy. Very easy to communicate with the teachers.It will be are third year with Karshner.We have no compliant.
