My daughter has Autism, and I adore her teachers and para-educators. My daughter entered school there three years ago, and at that time was completely non-verbal. Her vocabulary is now huge, and she is also readying and writing. We started off in the Clover district, and she didn't have teachers that really worked with her, nor challanged her to grow. This school and the educators in it are such a blessing. I can't speak for all the teachers; however, if you have a special needs child, this is the school you want them to be in.

Being a military family and having to transition my children into yet another school I was thrilled when we found Brouillett, Stahl and Rogers by moving int the Puyallup School district. I was impressed with the teachers and staff from 2003 to current in each of the schools that took an interest in teaching and caring for my kids. There was an overcrowding issue up to 2009 but with a new elementary school built helped the problem. This area is highly desired and still growing so those will remain issues for this district. The academics have proved, by state awards over the past few years, to show first hand the dedication these 3 schools have to learning/academics. I also was impressed with the amount of community support that is given to these particular schools. I highly recommend this area to live and these schools to place your children for their future benefit.

I had kids at this school up until this year. It is seriously overcrowded with no end in sight due to district money issues. I will say that the first grade team is superb and really concerned about individualizing reading instruction based on the needs of the students. After that, beware--the school is primarily concerned with State testing and spend way too much class time teaching the kids the scoring system and how to get the best score on each type of question. This is not meeting academic needs. Besides academics, the school fails to exhibit any sort of school pride or community cohesivness. It is somewhat of a depressing atmosphere. Having been involved in several schools over the years and being a teacher myself, sadly I would recommend staying out of the Brouillet district.

I have a 4th and 5th grader enrolled at this school and it has been a blessing! Principle Lisa Berry is really involved and welcoming to all the kids. Teachers are great and kids are super! Very positive learning environment.

Even with a new school in the vicinity, Brouillet is seriously overcrowded. The administration seems a bit more scattered and disorganised than last year, a lot of seemingly 'last-minute scrambling'. Teachers, as always, are wonderful though!

My son attended Brouillet and while it was overcrowded the staff was excellent and tried to make the best of a bad situation. With the addition of a new elementary school, I hope the student to teacher ratio has dropped. I know before the new elementary was even opened, they had already moved portables onto the property. Poor planning by District Admin is the only issue any of the schools in our area have.

Both of my kids have been attending this school for years. We love it. I don't think we've had a bad teacher yet! The principals are very involved with the students and welcome them through the door each day. The PTA is wonderful. They sponsor several fields trips, offer a fall carnival, hold a book fair, and an end of the year barbaque. I highly recommend it.

Caring and compassionate staff members--a rich learning environment for students. Brouillet's PTA offers enrichment classes during the year; also excellent music program. Parent involvement is incredible!

We haven't been at Brouillet very long, but it seems like a fairly solid school. The assistant principal & secretary are wonderful, energetic & know most of the kids by name (which is very impressive with the amount of children at this VERY overcrowded school). They seem to handle the overcrowding well also. It's distrubing to see the test scores slowly decline, so as a parent I hope to be able to help work with students to bring the scores back up.
