Quilcene is the Best of small town schools. Students have security, continuity, and the feeling of belonging and knowing everyone ! My Grandfather graduated from Quilcene, as did my Dad and Mom. I went to Quilcene and so did my daughter.
I love Quilcene school, because in most schools, you don't get the personal help of your teacher. In all of my classes, My teachers can easily help all students with their problems. I don't think other kids in big schools can say the same. Quilcene is the best school I've ever attended, and I've gone to six other schools.
This is a great town and it has a wonderful sense of community that is expressed best in its school. I have three children attending Quilcene. The school doesn't have the funds to adequately update the various programs that they would like to and could use this money more than any school in our area. Go Rangers!!!
A small school with a lot of heart. My children had some of my teachers, now that's a lot of loyalty and dedication.
You knew every student and teacher!
Small and very kid oriented.
Four of my five daughters graduated from Quilcene High. Three of these four attended K - 12. The Thomas girls excelled in academics and sports and as young adults today, they continue to be successful in life. The Quilcene school system provided and continues to provide teachers and coaches that truly care about kids! The dedicated teachers and support staff offer a well-rounded educational base for the future of America - our youth!!! Keep up the great work!! Quilcene High and Elementary deserve this special recognition!
I taught at Quilcene for three years and found it to be a caring, parent-involved community. I learned as much from my students and their families as I hope I taught them. Teaching in a small school allows for personal accountability and interaction, which is practically impossible in larger schools. I wish I had stayed and finished my career there.
great staff and great students! lots of excellent programs and how about all that one-on-one time?????
Great place to grow up, great teachers!
