My daughter spent two years in one of the comprehensive high schools before coming to Sartori. She, like many kids, was not cut out for the 'start at 7am, change classes (and gears) six times a day and be overloaded with homework' high school model. Not everyone learns the same way, and Sartori recognizes that. My girl thrived at Sartori. I am so happy we discovered this self guided program. It may not be for everyone, but it was exactly what my daughter needed to succeed. The students are completely responsible for their education. It's treated like a job-if they are going to miss a day, they are responsible for calling in. They are held accountable. No cell phones, less absences are allowed and they are there until they succeed. This program is worth checking into. It's small so everyone knows your student. Call them if your child is struggling--it's worth it!

A beautiful 1930's building. Has over 300 students attending with various programs from an alternitive high-school to special needs program to driver's ed. The teachers are very encouraging and alow the students to be self-directing to some extent. Great programs for kids who need to get out of trouble.

Sartori is a great school for 'catch-up' opportunities. I have noticed a dramatic change in the way things are dealt with at Sartori, attendance mainly. Sartori is great in getting students ready for college through running start.
