We have 4 children at the Maple Valley campus and they have been attending since summer of 2008. Our kids love going to school there and have done amazing well. We like the smaller classes and the personal involvement we have from the teachers and staff, Two of our kids have had some delays and the school has been great in accomodating our needs and requests. We highly recommend the school.

My three children have and are attending Rainier's schools--elementary through high school. I appreciate that they are challenaged academically and spiritually to lgrow, learn, and share their faith. Teachers work with the students, and are approachable with anyconcerns. The athletic program, especially in the high school, is growing and becoming more competitive under dedicated, excited coaches and new athletic director. This is important especially to my one son who loves sports. In any school there will be challenges, and here we can work things out in a respectful manner when concerns arise. My children have made great and lasting friendships. We are blessed to be part of Rainier Christian School District.

I have children at three of Rainier's campuses. I have one in high school, one at the middle school and one at the Maple Valley campus. All three children love attending school here. We moved them from the Kent District after some difficulties with my oldest at Cedar Heights last year and I have not regretted my decision one bit. Tuition is affordable and the staff is incredible. My kids are ahead of their peers academically and they have grown in their spiritual walk as well. I used to have to bring up discussions after church. Now my children walk the walk and talk the talk without my encouragement and I think it all has to do with the education they are receiving at Rainier Christian. The best review would be from my 7th grade son who was very angry with us when we moved him last year. He said, "Mom, I thought I had friends before. But now I know what true friends are. Thanks for making me come to this school. I love it."

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
