If your child isn't above average academically, look elsewhere. This is a one size fits all school!
Rachel Carson is the best! It has a hand-picked staff! All staff collaborate, team, assess and analyze student work to help guide their instruction. The atmospher is happy, student friendly, and enviornmentally sound.
It's a new school that I'm proud to support because of the environmentally friendly and supportive ways that it was designed. My favorite part is the garden on the roof. It is named after Rachel Carson, the first famale enviromentalist and they hope to follow in her foot steps in terms of taking care of earth and teaching the students about conservation.
Too many opinions and from staff with no children. Nobody has perfect children, not even here in Sammamish! (Sorry to disappoint some) Experience is the best teacher! I'm sure most of us have taken Psychology, Sociology,Communications, & Development courses and none of it has helped me with parenting. One size doesnt fit all so stop recommending talks with counselors, Jeez!
