My son has been a part of Young Child Academy and Queen Anne Community School for 4 years. He is currently in Kindergarten and will stay for first grade next year. QACS is a great school with incredible teachers and a very nurturing environment. We love the diversity of academics, reading, writing, math, language, music, art, yoga, daily walks to the park and monthly visits to the Seattle Public Library.

Queen Anne Community School has so much to offer. Great location and small classroom sizes. The teachers are very caring, and are able to individualize learning experiences for each child. They have music, dance, and drama classes, as well as Spanish and Mandarin.

This is a small growing school with a fantastic and dedicated staff of teachers. The whole philosophy of hands on learning helps make children independent learners and thinkers for life, who love to discover. All the children receive daily Spanish, art and yoga!

This has to be the most amazing school. My son is 2nd grade and learns art, mandarin, spanish, music (instruments like piano and bells), yoga, drama and dance. My son is so happy and has learned so much in a such a short period of time. They have weekly field trips and do a lot of 'hands on' learning which has created a dramatic increase in son's confidence. I am so grateful to have found such a unique school with loving teachers and a wonderful director. You will not find a school like this one anywhere.

I am so impressed with the level of sincerity of the Staff and emphasis on learning the arts as well as Reading/writing/arithmatic PLUS Spanish/Mandarin for my 5 yr old He amazes me with facts from his science classes twice a week. The kids are involved at Merrill Gardens ( Holiday Concerts..juried Art shows) and are seen picking up trash on their way to the home for the Elderly (Civic Pride)
