My daughter has attended this school for two years and loves every minute. The academics are first rate, with all multi-age, hands-on learning. Music, art and movement are not tacked on here, they are viewed as an important, integral part of a child's development. The parent organization is incredibly supportive, with nearly every parent participating in some manner, either in the class room or in other support capacity. From classroom to playground, music to horseback riding, German language to natural sciences (extensive use is made of the adjacent wildlife refuge), reading to adding, my daughter is learning academics, respect for others and our world and enjoying herself immensely. I can't wait for my son to enter next year!

Five Acre School is among the best Preschool/Elementary schools in the state of Washington. As a former student who attended the school from preschool until 6th grade, I can say that anyone who wants their child to have an excellent foundation should send their child to this school.

My son attended this school for a year, and it is just nonstop learning. From the time the students arrive they are kept busy learning. One can only imagine how tired the teachers are when their day is done, only to be well rested and refreshed to go and do it all over again. What an exciting place! What an exciting place to learn!
