Freshman Campus is a solution to overcrowding in a growing community. The one-year entry to high school was designed to ease the transition from middle school to high school. The student population however, retains a middle school mentality despite frequent references to their being a part of the larger SHS. Recent voter initiative approved erecting a new high school which would create 2 high schools each with 4-year study. This will improve the freshman year. Teachers do show concern for students to learn, but the social atmosphere in hallways and during lunch gets out of control. The system needs to update its teaching materials and allow all teachers a full work day. Grading scales are published as uniform, but the work to achieve grades varies from no homework per night to 90-120 minutes per class. If your student works hard, they will receive an education, but it may be self directed.

The Snohomish Freshman Campus is an over crowded school that is run down. There attitude to the students is that they are only here one year, and they won't have to deal with them the following year. They promote an excellent harassment policy, but when a student is in danger and being threatened, they do not do anything about it. Many kids have come out of that school dazed and confused after a year of being tormented, and not having any teachers care at all. Thanks Freshman Campus!

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
