St. Patrick's has very, very dedicated teachers, and a very holy priest guiding it. There is no better truly Catholic school in the diocese. The school is in transition to the Montessori method, in order to become financially self-sufficient. For the 2012-2013 school year, they offer pre-K and 6th-7th-8th grades, only. Starting in the Fall of 2013, they will offer Montessori school for the younger grades. It is an exciting time, but a challenging time, because some parents were upset with the change to Montessori. But the school was losing money every year, so this change - while painful - was necessary: like surgery to save the patient. But I am confident that God has great plans for this school's future! Your kids will grow in their faith and get a top-notch education from caring teachers at St. Patrick's!
This school was a good school at one time. I was really involved but the school has changed direction multiple times and different leadership. My daughter was there for 5 years and had 4 different principles and three different priests. The school is changing to a monisori school and they have dumped the 1st through 4th grade leaving students and families high and dry. This school lacks leadership starting with the priest that have been at the church for the last six years. Lack of leadership and experience would keep me from sending my kids there again. Lack od communication and Lack of charging old book keeper that was stealing money from the kids. I will say the teachers were great but they were all let go at the end of the year. THINK TWICE ABOUT SENDING YOUR KIDS THERE. BRYAN
This is a very Catholic school. The teachers really care about the students and the community feeling is really something.
This school really trys to get everone a proper education. The only flaw is the neighbor hood. All the teachers are well educated also.
