The school is not as geared around sports as these two would have you believe and the teachers really seem to care about their students. Mr. Echtle and Mr. Malunat stand out as two examples. Besides how many people in Toledo are in band vs. how many are in sports? Its easy to see why most the budget goes where it does.
I have two children that are in the school district at Toledo, one in High school, one in Middle school. I believe there is a lack of academic programs available, and too much focus on sports vs music, and arts.
Has potential to be a good school but like alot of small town high schools, lacks the funds.
