This is the amazing school I've had the pleasure to attend. In the 3 years I was a student there, I grew and learned more than I did in my previous high schools and middle school combined! The teachers are exemplary, personal, down-to-earth, and truly supportive of everyone, staff and students alike. When I have kids, I will try to send them here as soon as they reach the ninth grade. There are events like a Thanksgiving Feast, Crafts Day, Beach Trip, and All-School Field Trips that are largely paid for by ASB. But I think the most important thing I learned from my attendance here was how to interact with others and become a better person and life-long learner. Before, I looked forward to finishing my high school career. Now I look forward to graduating from college.

In 2002, my daughter was so overwhelmed with the environment and lack of structure at her high school, she was going to withdraw (drop out). Legacy's admission process was the reason she decided to continue with her education. There were rules and the rules were adhered to by the students because they respected their teachers and other staff. There were consequences. My daughter and the other students felt a sense of belonging and achievement. She gained more self esteem and confidence in her two years at Legacy than she did in the 4 years in Evergreen public schools. What was different? The program taught life skills, team building, communication skills, math and science that pertained to real life purpose. The teachers engagee with the students, counciled them, grieved with them, and celebrated. I am so thankful for the lifelong skills she was able learn. Special thanks to Todd.

Legacy was a Godsend. She is once again an A student, the teachers care, they give her support and encouragement and allow her to be an individual, not just a face in the crowd. Legacy is the best choice for children that need that little edge to succeed. We once dreaded college, now we anticipate her choices and she is excited about college. Thank you Legacy.

Legacy is an excellent school! What the test scores don't show is that many of these are kids who otherwise may never finish school. Thay are kids who don't fit the mold for one reason or another, yet here they all belong. The teachers are always there for extra support and encouragement. As for extra-curricular activities, the kids are welcome to join in any of these at their neigborhood school, so they are still available. Attendance is important.

Excellent school and staff. My 15 year old bipolar/adhd daughter is finally succeding in school. Hrt is great and the counselors are awesome. They have high standards and work with each willing student to reach those goals. I would not have her in any other school.

This is a great school for a child who is behind or is having trouble understanding or keeping up with regular school because students go at there own pace. But for a child who is doing fine it is not the best choice because the lack of sports and events. there is no track, football, or basketball teams but they do manage a lot more field trips than normal. If your child isn t the sports or social type this school is great. Former student

This school is a bit different than normal. The kids have a half day and three classes. My son id finally understanding what school is about after three years of getting 'lost' in the regular high school. Legacy has a reputation of having the 'Bad and troubled' kids. That is an undeserved reputation. This is a great school, just wish we had sent my son to them in 9th grade instead of waiting till the 12th.
