My 8th grade Hi-Cap student has had very good teachers who are communicative through e-mail. I think most classmates are like her in getting work done during class time with not too much homework. I suspect the amount of homework required in high school may come as a shock, though. The school has a nice, rural, feel with a nice, new building. Nice Counselors. My child has had a great experience in Choir and Drama. There is a large group of kids who are academically gifted and the school tries hard to keep these kids motivated and challenged. This school has piloted the HiCap programs adopted by the other mid. schools. The percentage of students inducted into the NJ Honor Society was quite impressive. The school is also effective in keeping the kids in each grade away from possible negative influences of older kids as each grade has their own hall.

My child is often not able to explain what she is learning at school. When I have the homework and ask her questions there is very little information she can relate. Too many days off and too many fun days. Since parents are not able to meet with the teachers we must email them. Only one has ever emailed me back.

Enterprise is a terrific school! Great teachers, a caring administration, excellent counselors, and a beautiful building. Good activities for kids, sports, music, drama, etc. I have been very impressed. High academic standards, teachers want you to think more than do busy work. Great job Enterprise!

I've been very impressed with my son's teachers. They pique their students' curiosity and do not assign much homework. The teachers (and students) seem to accomplish a lot during the school day. Extracurricular activities (orchestra, Robotics sports) are fine. baseball is more low-key than Little League, but the coaching was excellent. Lots of students are in the music programs, especially band and Choir. They would probably have more students in Orchestra, if it weren't offered an hour before school starts.

There is TOO MUCH homework. Do the teachers teach during the day? Seems to me that everything is sent home. Kids go to school all day, then have homework all night. What about family time? Time to just be a kid, time to just do things as a family? Homework a few nights a week is great, but so is having fun with your kids. Many times our son has had to give something up in order to do homework. Like I said, homework is fine, but when it's three subjects every night, including weekends, it's ridiculous. I have heard many other parents complain about this.

The school is made of cheap materials, is only a few years old and is falling apart. there is far too much attention and money going towards athletics rather than Drama, music and art. There are too many kids per class and are not being given the individule attention they deserve.

This school is so good. And for you people who are not up to date; Enterprise Middle is only 2 years old. Hanford Middle got demolished so they built Enterprise. It is super nice and neat inside and they have a great library. And for you Eighth graders-be sure to get Mr. Woodward for science. He is the best teacher ever

Classes are okay. They don't give enough homework in my opinion to be preparing the kids for high school/college level loads. Sports coaches are so-so, not a whole lot of useful instruction going on. The kids spend too much time watching videos/movies in classes as part of a 'multi-sensory learning experience'.
